Whales

Whales are large marine mammals that live in the ocean. There are around 80 species, divided into baleen whales (like blue whales) and toothed whales (such as belugas). They have thick blubber for warmth and are some of the most intelligent sea creatures. Many whale species are endangered due to overfishing, pollution, and climate change. In recent years there have been conservation efforts to help preserve whale populations.
